I wanted to start with a photograph and deconstruct it into its basic elements: points and lines. I always enjoyed the pointilism paintings of the Post-Impressionists, how points represent shapes and objects by their color, grouping, and layering. Points eventually stop representing vegetables and give way to curves and lines, broad in color and geometric in shape. Variations
