Hi, I'm Judy Siegel. I'm a jack-of-all-trades, with my overall passion for HCI being in the design process itself. I believe that good research informs design and vice versa. It is this cyclical, iterative process that attracted me to HCI and UCD to begin with, along with the growing importance of user experience design across a wide range of organizations, including corporations, governmental agencies and NGOs.
I possess a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech. While at Georgia Tech, I had the good fortune to be exposed to a number of HCI and digital media projects, ranging from traditional UI design and usability testing to game creation and digital media. It was a good time.
I have experience working at large software companies, start-ups and non-profit organizations. I'm interested in novel approaches to HCI -- for example, creating 'do-gooder' software and user experiences. I'm also interested in all forms of communication and would love to merge my communications and HCI backgrounds into a meaningful work experience.
Thanks for checking out my work! Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any questions.
